Batgirl Of Burnside vol 1

Batgirl Of Burnside vol 1

Okay so I’ve been a little obsessed with watching a few batgirl episodes as I do love marvel and DC and I really wanted a hero I could really associate with and love and be well be No.1 fan maybe even try cosplaying… well I think I’ve found it!!!! I’m in love! COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH BATGIRL!!!! Okay so yeah she’s good! It’s just wow! I can’t describe this… obvs comics aren’t for everyone but I do suggest that if anyone ever wants to get into them to try with something they are interested in knowing a bit more about first.

One of the main things I like about this book is how she’s a young college student going thought her everyday issues as a young female but she is also such a strong character and smart, a few things I feel women are sometimes told they can’t be! Strong, Independent but smart and not to mention beautiful! I think this is why I’ve come to love this character and story so much, another new strong female role!!! EXCITED MUCH!!!!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone!

Okay so I decided to go back a little and read a Harry Potter book, so why not start with the first book!

I have bought the new covers for Harry Potter books and I have been really excited to get started in it!

For anyone who hasn’t read them… why not?!?!? These books were brilliant when I read them ages ago and still brilliant today!

Okay so I really like these new covers, these are really nice but I’m still not sure if I like the old ones more…. guess we’ll see…

So the first Harry Potter book is about a young boy who finds out he is a wizard and goes to a witch and wizard school and starts to find out his hidden past… including fighting a dark wizard Voldemort!

The world according to Bob

So being a massive fan of the first book and the Christmas book, never mind the film!! I decided to give his second book ago!
This book links in with the first one really closely! At times I was thinking I’m sure I know this happens but I think because I watched the film not long ago I started noticed bits more easily!
I love these books but I defiantly suggest if you want to read this book and the first read them together… so no.1 first and then go straight onto no.2 it’ll make a lot more sense than having a little gap and trying to remember bits from the first book!
One thing I really liked about this book is James talked about some of the rumours that go around about him (things that myself people tell me when I tell them I love the book) and how they make him feel and why he feels they are said and most importantly puts these rumours right!

The Radleys – Matt Haig

The Radleys – Matt Haig

I decided to try and read this fictional vampire book after reading Matt Haig’s personal book about depression and anxiety.

I really like how Matt writes, this book is split onto section but each chapter is very short – which you find yourself reading really quickly through.

It was a very different vampire book to most, a family of vampire where half the family didn’t realise they were vampires, strange,…. but worked to well.

I really enjoyed reading this and I’m really excited to read his other book ‘The Humans’ – this looks different but I’ve come to like the way he writes and would love to read more from him… I suggest many should check out his both fictional and non- fictional books.

Reading everywhere…

I find myself carrying a book where ever I am going… today me and my boyfriend decided to go to Black Rocks in Cromford, Matlock today (mainly for photographs) but it was nice to be able to spend a couple hours of just reading my book on the rocks!!!

Here’s me in the cold with my slightly muddy trainers from walking around….
